“This classic gunsmoke episode, aired on January 9, 1954. The plot revolves around three men who lynch a rancher for stealing horses. Two of the men are shot, and the third one is threatened. The program is followed by ‘Sanka Salutes,’ sponsored by Sanka. The same script was used on the program of February 9, 1958, and on the Gunsmoke television series on March 15, 1958. Jake and his men have caught the man that has been stealing their horses. Tillman is Jake’s neighbor and they’ve known each other for a long time.
